What We Believe

About The Bible

The Bible, also called scripture, is God’s unchanging word written for all people. It was written by ordinary men who were led and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, it contains supreme truth in everything we need for life and godliness.

About God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has existed eternally in three distinct persons of the Trinity; Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal, yet one God modeling the perfect relationship.

About Humankind

Humankind is created in the image of God and is the most beloved part of His creation. Each person has been created with a soul unique and loved. Humankind is also marred by an attitude of selfish rebellion. Although capable of great good, we sin through our own will and are separated from God. The penalty of sin is separation from God.

About Jesus

Jesus Christ is the son of God, and co-equal with the Father. He lived and died a perfect sinless human life. After three days, He rose from the grave defeating death and Satan, and in so doing paid the penalty for sin. He now sits at the right hand of God in Heaven and will return to reign as King of Kings someday soon.

About Salvation

Salvation is a gift from God to humankind. We can never make up for our sin by good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can humankind be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.

About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit came to earth to be a Counselor. As such, He makes humankind aware of their sin and their need for Jesus Christ as Saviour. He lives in every person the moment we put our faith in Jesus Christ and helps us to live a life that brings glory to God. The Christian seeks to live in obedience to the Holy Spirit.
