Cross Current is located at Winkler Bible Camp near the towns of Winkler and Morden, MB. WBC is one of the larger camps in Canada with over 2000 campers each summer. Over 20,000 people visit the camp annually through retreats, school groups and many various rentals. WBC Cross Current students are an integral part of all that happens at the camp through the eight months they are here.
Students lead school groups through activities, prepare our facilities for many occasions, serve in the kitchen and in many other on-site capacities. Students spend at least two afternoons per week and one weekend per month contributing to the overall ministry of Winkler Bible Camp.
Dorms
Students live in separate Men’s and Womens’ dorms here at the camp.
The Barn
The Barn is actually our classroom and student lounge (don’t worry the cows are long gone). Our newly renovated student lounge is a great place for students to relax and socialize. Our classroom and computer lab provide a great atmosphere for study and growth. Students are welcome to bring a computer of their own to use on the camp network.
The Camp
There’s tons of stuff for students to do in their free time at WBC! We have an archery range, climbing wall, bike course, indoor gym (volleyball, basketball), outdoor rink (broom ball, hockey, skating), lake (canoeing, swimming, ice-fishing), cross-country skiing trails, horses, etc. If you get bored here… well, it’s your own fault!
